1. Evaluate. Use musculoskeletal ultrasound to examine the affected joint and surrounding soft tissues.
2. Map. Review the findings, identify the treatment target, and discuss whether the proposed approach fits your condition and goals.
3. Treat. If treatment is appropriate, use live ultrasound imaging to guide the needle to the selected area.
